Dr Anjali Gibbs trained as a GP after completing her medical degree at Cambridge University in 2005. She worked as a GP for 9 years and in 2016 became a partner at a busy London clinic as well as a GP trainer training junior doctors.
Dr Gibbs is passionate about focusing on ways to improve the quality of life in the elderly using a holistic approach - if possible reducing their medications and focusing on lifestyle interventions to improve this stage of their journey. She also really enjoys listening to the stories of their lives.
Her main areas of interest are dementia, managing multimorbidity and teaching in primary care.
Dr Gibbs has a young family and is enjoying exploring Melbourne, having lived in London for her whole life. She has been overwhelmed by the kindness shown to her by her new friends in Australia. In her spare time she enjoys painting with water colours, ceramics and doing pilates.
Dr Gibbs speaks some Hindi.
